SUCCESS - YOU ARE POWERFUL!
What is success?  Success means different things to different people.  Webster's Dictionary defines success as the achievement of something desired, planned or attempted.  The gaining of fame or prosperity.
For some of us, success is living each day to it's fullest.  To others it is achieving financial, spiritual or fitness goals.  Take a moment and reflect on what success means to you.  Decide on a path that will lead you to fulfillment and take it.
ONE DAY AT A TIME!

Here are some tips on achieving success in our lives:
1.  Get up early ~ get a head start on your day.  Your day will go much better if you do not start it off frazzled.
2. Start off each day with a positive affirmation, tell yourself that you are amazing - be your own hero!
3.  Give thanks daily for the blessings that you have.
4.  Listen to your favorite songs on the way to work - sing along!
5.  Read good books.  Try some juicy thought inspiring reading material.
6.  Associate with enthusiastic, positive and motivated people.
7.  Love your work, if it means making a career change to achieve this - JUST DO IT!
8.  Give back to your body by eating healthy food.
9.  When you step outside to begin your day, fill your lungs with some fresh and clean air - take a deep breath.
10. Invest in your health - visit your Chiropractor - keep a clear vessel!
11.  Listen to innate - you have an inner compass that is designed to guide you.
12. Make it a priority to get a good night's sleep.
13. Never go to bed mad.
14. Hug alot. Hugging has many physical, spiritual and emotional benefits!
15. Set aside time every day for just you - clear your mind, cleanse your soul and never forget that you are a miracle and  the world is a better place because you are in it.

SPINAL CARE DO'S AND DON'TS!
To help keep your spine functioning properly, check out the following sitting, standing and driving tips!
Standing:
When standing try to keep with the natural curves in your back at all times.  High heels may cause the low back to arch excessively.  Wear comfortable shoes with a good arch support.  If you stand for long periods of time, shift positions and try to rest one foot on a stool or low shelf.  This takes strain off of the lower back.  Don't stand in one place for too long.  Don't bend forward with straight legs.
Sitting:
Avoid sitting for prolonged periods of time, as this causes postural strain. Take frequent breaks to stand up and stretch.  Place both feet flat on the floor when sitting.  Avoid crossing your legs - this habit can lead to an imbalance in the pelvis. Sit back on the chair.  It is very important that you give your back the proper support.  Adjust your chair so that your knee is slightly higher than your hip.  If your chair is not adjustable you will need a footrest.  Don't sit in a chair that is too large, too high or too low.  Avoid leaning forward with your back arched.  Work toward not being a slouch.
Driving:
Move your seat forward until your thighs rest comfortably on the seat and your feet are on the pedals.  Elevate the headrest until it is right behind the back of your head.  This is important in the event of an accident.  Sit straight against the back of the seat.  Some cars have built in lumbar support, if your car does not than ask your Chiropractor to suggest an appropriate lumbar support.  Remember to keep both hands on the wheel.  Don't sit too far back - reaching for the steering wheel or pedals puts strain on the spine.

THE REAL SCOOP ON OUR LIFE-FORCE!
The cells of our body are constantly dying and being replaced by new, healthy cells.  Two and a half million of them will die and be replaced every minute of your life.  This is a normal process.  Health can be defined as the ability of the body to replace cell and tissue structures normally and consistently.  There is an innate intelligence within each of us  which creates and recreates us on a continual basis.  In order for this process to occur, life-force or mental impulses must be flowing throughout the body to all cells and tissues.  Innate intelligence directs this life-force. This is where Chiropractic comes in.  If pressure or interference exists within the nervous system, it acts as a roadblock for those mental impulses as they try to reach their destination.  This interference comes from misaligned vertebrae and the Chiropractic adjustment is the only means of removing nerve interference!  If interference prevents the life-force or mental impulses from getting through, than cells and tissues cannot create and recreate and we are susceptible to illness and disease!  Now you know the real scoop on your life-force and the next time you are adjusted, think about what is really happening within your body at that moment. A miracle takes place every time you are adjusted!

CLOSING THOUGHT
"When you were born, you cried and the world rejoiced.  Live your life so that when you die. the world cries and you rejoice."
