KEY TO A HEALTHY IMMUNE SYSTEM -
1- PHYSICAL -
A. Regular Chiropractic Care -
The research is in. The nervous system and the immune system are one.
Spinal nerve tension reduces our ability to handle stress which weakens our
immune system thereby diminishing our bodies ability to fight dis-ease.
B. Keep the body Alkaline -
1. Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables. A good rule of thumb for most of
us is 80% alkaline-forming food to 20% acid-forming food. Generally
speaking - fresh fruits and vegetables are alkaline forming, while starches
and proteins are acid forming. The good news is that the more physically
active you are the more acid-forming foods your body can handle.
2. Eat whole, natural foods. As much as possible eat fresh, in season,
organically grown. Eat most food raw or slightly steamed with an emphasis
on green leafy vegetables.
3. Chew food well - saliva alkalinizes food.
4. Eat whole grains that have been germinated. Germination makes them more
alkaline, easier to digest, and increases protein and enzyme content.
5. Keep the elimination organs working well with periodic short cleansing
regimes ( please feel free to discuss various cleanse options with me).
6. Get adequate rest.
7. Exercise.
8. Drink pure water.
9. Get fresh air.
Thing to avoid -
1. Refined sugar.
2. Refined, chemicalized, stale, and overcooked foods.
3. Poisons such as drugs, vaccines, insecticides.
4. Coffee, tobacco, alcohol.
C. Supplements -
All of necessary vitamins and minerals needed for a healthy life are
available through good nutrition - (For a list of foods high in essential
vitamins and minerals please ask me.) At times supplementation is
necessary.

2. Minerals zinc, calcium, magnesium, iodine, iron, and selenium.
3. Herbs such as garlic, alfalfa, echinacea, yarrow, gingerroot, cayenne,
and taheeboo.

1. See yourself as part of an "unbroken wholeness" in which every part
supports every other part.
2. See the Universe as harmonious and life affirming - The word "Universe"
means "One Song." We are each one note in that universal song.
3. See your physical body as an energy field. See yourself as life-force
energy. See it as an extension of your consciousness that responds to your
thoughts and feelings.
4. "Centering" and getting in touch with "self" and all of its
life-affirming energies.
5. Prayer, meditation, chanting, yoga etc...
6. See your interactions with others as one life-force sharing time with
another life-force.
A special mention for Dairy Products -
The elimination of dairy products for the elimination of childhood diseases
is mentioned by many writers and teachers such as macrobiotic and Natural
Hygiene schools of thought. I feel that its not so much the total
elimination of dairy that will promote a healthy lifestyle but the
elimination of adulterated dairy products - pasteurized, homogenized, and
chemicalized.
